Help for Dyslexic Learners

Changing the mindset from "I can't" to, "I can"!

Living with dyslexia?

Are you someone who struggles with reading and/or writing?

Are you the parent of someone who lives with struggles related to dyslexia?

Dyslexic people have a different way of processing information to others. This can be incredibly useful in some settings but it causes struggles in others, most notably with reading and writing.

For some, words seem to move on the page, letters vanish, or lines move to merge with others. It is common for words or lines to be skipped, for words to make no sense or for there to be no memory of what has been read at all.

Despite excessive effort, reading remains exhausting and difficult. People with dyslexia therefore tend to avoid it as much as possible.

Writing and spelling can also be so arduous that many are unable to transfer their often exceptional knowledge, from brain to page.

These difficulties tend to result in low self-esteem, poor confidence and a feeling of inferiority. Learning is exhausting and some develop strategies to avoid being in the classroom.

If this seems familiar and you want it to change, either for yourself or your child…

You have come to the right place! Jane has linked with Louise Barnes of Unlock Learning to provide a unique program outlined below.

Joint Program

Jane has linked with Louise Barnes from Unlock Learning to produce a bespoke program combining Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Structure of Intellect (SOI).

Following a comprehensive SOI assessment, a bespoke program will be designed to breakthrough dyslexic difficulties followed by further training of all low-level cognitive abilities.

Louise and Jane will work independently using their expertise to tackle different aspects of the individual's cognitive difficulties.

Reading and writing challenges will be addressed first using NLP, allowing the remaining cognitive difficulties to be tackled using SOI training.
